Here’s Dale & Randy hard at work: 150 silkscreens for your pre-sale package buttons to get stuck on.

These turned out cool as shit. Our little way of saying thanks for your pre-order patronage. One of these, 6 pins full, will accompany the colored editions of the five new singles, plus your catalogue title of choice, for the paltry sum of $33.

We’ll keep the pre-sale bundles up on the webstore for another week or so (right column of this homepage). We have a few dozen bundles left up for grabs that we’d love to share with you!

Everything is coming together. On time, no less! Pre-orders are slated to ship in/around July 20th

Cheers,

Tim & Dale & Randy

PS: Hope you all enjoyed Nardwuar vs. the Ballantynes this past Friday. If you missed the show, you can listen here.

PPS: If you want a sneak peak of the new single from The Ballantynes, out next week, head over to Some Kind of Awesome where it’s streaming like mad!

This weekend: Earthquake Shake & Music Waste

Time for the Tuesday update.

No more pre-sales to profile, but buckets of news to spill in the coming weeks. We’ll be keeping you updated on the singles, tour plans, some fun developments and more, but ¬†let’s stick to the immediate: this weekend.

Music Waste is happening in Vancouver June 7th-10th. All your favorite locals for a measly $15 pass. All the details on their Simpsons-in-Japan-esque seizure-inducing website.

The Ballantynes will be shutting ‘er down with the Wrap UP BBQ at the Waldorf Hotel. There’s food and bands all day long!

Over on the island, we have the 3rd annual Earthquake Shake:

Our very own Maxines headline a bill that includes Teledrome (Hozac recording artists from Calgary), Bad Channels (from Vancouver) and WIMPS (from Seattle). Local New Krime will kick things off.

Leading into it, B.A. Johnston, Ketamines, and babysitter are playing Logan’s Thursday, June 7th.¬†Friday, June 8th will be a Teenage Depression dj night (where we’ll be sure to sit in on a set).

Good times. We’ll check in next Tuesday.
