A busy year at home brought The Ballantynes into the daylight at Squamish Live! and Rifflandia, and found them opening for garage greats like the Oblivians and Roky Erickson, but on the cusp of Spring with their latest LA-TI-DA Records release making its rounds, Vancouver’s soul-drenched seven piece find themselves itching to tour on their new “Liquor Store Gun Store Pawn Shop Church” EP. The 12 date tour winds its way along the West Coast March 15th – 29th, kicking off in Spokane, WA with dates down to Long Beach, before creeping back on up for a finale in Seattle. With wanderlust, homes away from home, and warmer weather lighting up their eyes, the septet are eager to revisit the sites and the company that dot their album covers and echo through their songs respectively.
Send them off Saturday March 1st with The Shivas and Calvin Love at Electric Owl Social Club with Jonathan Toubin’s SOUL CLAP DANCE OFF!
